You can send us the cutting tools and accessories to be assembled and balanced to specific spindle speeds required for machinery with high speed capability and minimal
imbalance.
Each balanced toolholder comes with a printout of its own custom balanced specification. Many shops now have balancing equipment of their own. A prebalanced Collis product will increase productivity and reduce down time rebalancing tools. Those customers not having their own balancing equipment can count on Collis to custom balance Collis toolholders quickly and efficiently. Custom sizes and lengths can be made to order.
Collis Shell Mill Holders are available in CV-Flange, BT Flange, NMTB Flange, R8 Shank and Rapid Switch Shank sizes.
Collis product is specifically designed for higher speed applications and precision tolerance machining. All Collis product is manufactured to AT3 tolerances and better where applicable.

We have deliberately cut the tolerances allowed by industry standards, and made the bore and outside diameter the most precision surfaces surpassing all competition. We are the only manufacturer that provides an easy entry end on the insertion end of our tools to prevent the two straight surfaces from wedging together. The easy entry aligns the bore and bushing. As the bore enters, the bushing slips into
alignment with ease. We have several styles and can modify for metric bores upon request.

Collis has straight shank, automotive shank and the steep and morse taper shank holders as standard items. We require a drawing or sketch along with your specifications. Collis reserves the right to overship or undership any order for manufactured specials by ten percent or one part on an order less than five pieces. No returns will be allowed on manufactured specials. A five piece minimum quantity is required.
